Responsibilities:
Ensures that all financial activities follow generally accepted accounting principles and are in compliance with internal policies and
Government requirements
Participates in and implements monthly financial close, supervises the assignments of the staff accountants to include general ledger, accounts payable and fixed assets
Prepares monthly management financial reporting package and executive summary schedules. Coordinates and facilitates the process of documenting accounting policies and procedures
Motivates and develops direct reports by mentoring, coaching and providing performance feedback
Reviews and balances month-end accruals
Qualifications & Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required
With solid casino accounting experience. Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in finance or accounting within Casino/Hospitality industry. Prior experience with procedures of gaming operation preferred
Strong oral and written communications skills a must
Requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to synthesize business/financial data
Must have a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Macau ID Card holder would be an advantage
