Retail Operations - Merchandising Coordinator
Position Description: · Category management and supply chain control of the assigned categories · Product buying and sourcing · Develop and design exclusive products · Expand sourcing network of product category · Deliver and drive category strategies & business concepts to achieve category budget and sales profit · Manage OTB, pricing strategies and stock levels · Work on promotional plan and in-house category merchandising · Maintain merchandise system and vendor’s records · Assist with on going internal communication & education of team members to help raise the level of awareness of our Retail offer · Be fully familiar with and remain up to date with the range of services and general operational way of work of the Venetian Position Requirements: · Matriculated or above · Minimum 2 years merchandising / retail experience or candidate possesses general skills or work background that would lend itself to development into this role after appropriate training · An understanding of general Retail · Good computer skills, organized and diligent · PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel · The candidate should possess strong communication and decision making skills but also an ability to work within a team environment. · Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese · Negotiation skills · Understand retail store operations · Have or demonstrate ability to work with factories on QC requirements · Good organizational skills and time management · Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to Departmental and Company policies · Have a well groomed, professional appearance |
