Human Resources - Manager - Communication
Position Description: · Establish a long term plan that enhances the effectiveness of internal communication to all levels of the organization while fostering our Vision, Mission and Values · Design collateral materials that effectively convey key messages to our Team Members and external audiences · Oversee the design and content of our standard internal communication processes and procedures · Serve as editor and lead correspondent for our company newsletter · Supervise the Communications Team and provide guidance on their daily tasks and assignments · Assist each of the HR functions in designing their standard communication tools and information for effective messaging to diverse audiences · Provide guidance to Human Resources Management Team on best practices in delivering key messages to our Team Members · Support the Communications team with all special projects not mentioned above · Effectively represent Venetian to groups of team members, applicants, counterparts in the industry, management and outside organizations as needed Position Requirements: · Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English or Graphic Design or related field preferred · Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a communication, public relations or journalism role working in a fast-paced corporate environment · Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft software included PageMaker, Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, Excel and Power Point · Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization · Possess exceptional editing skills with an aptitude for grammar and style · Possess excellent organizational skills with ability to be detail and deadline focused · Be creative and innovative in responding to the communication needs of a diverse workforce · Maintain long range goals without sacrificing follow through on details · Read, write, speak, and understand English and Cantonese · Work independently · Get along with fellow Team Members and work as a team · Maintain a flexible work schedule · Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies · Have a well groomed, professional appearance |
