Infrastructure Engineer - IT Operations 資訊科技基建工程師
| Description: | | The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the Company's enterprise server, storage, and security systems. He/She deals directly with the system providers to maintain high systems availability and performance.
- Assist the engineering team in all matters related to maintaining the infrastructure, including information security, servers and storage, and enterprise IT services.
- Serve as the technical resource on the company’s computer systems. Responsible for the support, troubleshooting and maintenance of systems.
- Produce documentation on systems configuration and setup, support and maintenance logs, and system upgrades or enhancements.
- Work with service providers to ensure and maintain high-availability of systems.
- Monitor system utilization and improve system performance.
- Maintain system upgrades and patches to ensure all systems are secure and up to date.
- Maintain communications with end-users to gather user feedback and user requirements on computer systems.
Job Knowledge / Skills
- Good interpersonal skills in dealing with multiple contractors and system suppliers.
- Multilingual English/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred.
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Minimum of 5 years' of software development experience is preferrable.
- Demonstrated understanding of computer systems and enterprise operating environments.
- Experience with infrastructure security.
- Familiar with ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2/PMI process and methodology is preferrable
- Industrial certification with one or multiple of the following would be an advantage:
Microsoft MCSE, VMware VCP, HP MASE, RHCE, ITIL v3, SCJP, MCSD, | |
