Assistant Manager - Grand Canal Shoppes
Position Description: · Assist with the development of the annual marketing plan · Responsible for all marketing collateral and communication vehicles · Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the mall’s key issues, competitor activity, trade area demographics and trading patterns · Develop a close understanding of turnover performance and occupancy costs of the mall and individual retailers performance · Understand trends for individual retailers and meet with distressed retailers each month to determine the factors impacting on sales performance · Compile information into the various monthly reports · Review the monthly sales report and identify retailers/categories requiring additional assistance and work with the Mall Marketing Manager to devise strategies for support · Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all retailers · Ensure weekly communication report is distributed to all mall management staff · Write and distribute the monthly retailer newsletter Position Requirements: · Must be degree qualified · Must be degree qualified in marketing, business or communications · Minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing role · Proficient in excel and word · Good understanding of analysis and research · Read, write, speak and understand English · Get along with fellow Team Members and work as a team · Be willing to work any day and any shift · Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies · Have a well groomed, professional appearance |
