Senior Purchasing Agent
Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate should be able to perform as follows:
ü Development of commodity strategies for the above mentioned commodities and strong oversight with a focus on implementation to achieve exceptional results in cost reductions, quality, delivery and technology
ü Selection of suitable suppliers and comprehensive supply base management
ü Negotiations to ensure best-in-class pricing
ü Analysis of total cost of ownership
ü Summary of procurement recommendation
ü Management reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor degree required in a related field or an equivalent experience
- Min. 2 years experience in purchasing
- Able to perform complex analysis for supplier and material contracts;
- Knowledge of financial and cost management, PO and contract management and spreadsheet analysis;
- Be able to manage effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
