Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre is owned by Sociedade de Turismo e Diversoes de Macau, S.A.R.L. and managed by Shun Tak Holdings Limited. Opened in December 2001, Macau Tower is located in the Southeastern corner of the Macau Peninsula and stands 338m tall at its peak. It is the 8th tallest free-standing tower across Asia, and 10th in the world. Job Responsibilities 1. Responsible for establishing, developing, enhancing presentable food products to guests 2. Present and anticipated changes to marketplace and guests’ need 3. Maintain and ensure the quality of food product and consistency of food delivery and standards 4. Create recipes and support materials 5. Give direction and responsible for the implementation of departmental plans 6. Responsible for the training and development of staff members in the department 7. Perform recruitment and disciplinary measures corresponding to the company policy 8. Set targets, plans and schedules work and performance indications to measure staff productivity and efficiency 9. Propose changes in response to market needs of staff packages Job Requirements 1. Certificate in related accredited culinary program is a must 2. Minimum 4-7 years of experience in the field and with minimum 3 years experience as Indian Chef in recognised properties 3. Knowledge of food products, standard recipes and preparation techniques 4. Knowledge of international and local laws governing food handling, hygiene practices, occupational health and safety, wage and hour issues and labor relations 5. In-depth knowledge of and passion for Indian food 6. Must have strong leadership skills, a good trainer with hands on approach and high energy level 7. Ability to create a team environment and supervise effectively 8. Able to work under pressure and accomplish goals on a timely basis 9. Must be mature, passionate, committed, creative and flexible 10. Good command in written and spoken English 11.
