Guest Service Agent
Position Description - To perform all activities in the Reservations Center, acknowledge and relay all incoming and outgoing calls and written requests and enquiries, provide information of our services and facilities to Guests in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner
- To be familiar with and be able to effectively demonstrate telephone and written sales skills to assist in maximizing suite revenue yield
- To process all reservations in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that they are keyed into the LMS system in an accurate fashion while following standards in regards to how to use the system in a uniform manner that not only ensures the guest is provided with the accommodation booked but also ensures information is accurately recorded that provides valuable marketing data
- To be familiar with all aspects of the reservations area, being prepared to work in the various specialist areas that comprise this department whether it is FIT, group, or Expo reservations work and activity
Position Requirements - High school education or vocational school certificate
- Computer terminal operation experience
- Typing Skills of 20+ words per minute in English
- Typing Skills of Simplified Chinese
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AS400, PBX system is an advantage
- Speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin, knowledge of other languages, eg, Japanese, Korean, etc. is a plus
- A history of performing job functions with attention to detail in a customer service related environment would be an advantage
- Possess a clear and pleasant voice
- Take directions from Reservations Manager and show initiative to assist other Team Members
- Job requires extensive hours of sitting
- Must be able to work any hour
- Have a well groomed, professional appearance
