Senior Manager - Public Relations
Position Description - Work closely with VP of Public Relations
- Manage Project and events - news conferences, press launches, one-on-one interviews
- Manage events and production budgets
- Arrange distribution of all printed materials to media and stakeholders
- Make recommendations on PR strategies and produce budget to VP of Public Relations
- Liaise and work closely with MICE, trade media to generate positive stories about Sands China’s properties
- Deliver results with increasing impact to support Company objectives
Position Requirements - College Degree in Communications or public relations or marketing communications
- 6-8 years in media relations with proven success with television, print and online media
- Experience managing media relations campaigns in support of company and / or client initiatives
- Experience with media program development and execution in Asia Pacific region
- Experience in trade, business-to-business media
- Strong understanding of the MICE and Hotel business
- Knowledge of MICE, trade, hospitality and tourism media in the Asia Pacific region in particular China market
- Demonstrate a positive attitude in deadline-oriented environment
- Be a self-starter with the proven ability to be committed with PR tasks
- Be able to lead and guide a professional team to achieve set objectives
- Translate strategy into specific goals and objectives easily; put a top priority on obtaining positive results
- Have an excellent command of Mandarin, Cantonese and English
- Be able to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
