Assistant Manager, Service Delivery - 030098
          

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Successful candidates will be responsible to provide first line technical support and IT system administrator work to users. This will involve recording, analysis, diagnosis and resolution of user problems. The core requirements areto provide an efficient fault resolution service to the end users of technology throughout the Company by:

  • Answering internal and external calls from the users regarding IT issues;
  • Attempting high level troubleshooting of IT related problems;
  • Ensuring more complex problems are passed to appropriate resource;
  • Cooperation with third-party company to meet the operation need

 

Specific responsibilities includes:

System Management:

  • Monitoring and maintaining server systems and networks;
  • Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, network switch and server system;
  • Manage and execute program deployment, system configuration, backup/restore of database and file;
  • To investigate problems being experienced with executing programs and to resolve problems;
  • Recommend and carry out modifications to existing procedures or new procedures that will improve the overall operation;
  • Perform other duties as needed; Operation and support:
  • To resolve problems on IT related equipment and system;
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware operation systems and applications;
  • To liaise with hardware maintenance and support suppliers towards the successful resolution of a problem;
  • Record inventory for all computer/I.T equipment;

 

Qualifications Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant IT helpdesk/enterprise support experience required;
  • Windows Server admin, VM virtualization, SAN Storage experience are required;
  • knowledge of networking and Cisco equipment a plus;
  • Previous hands-on experience with computers/notebooks;
  • Proficiency with Windows 7 OS;
  • Good customer service expertise;
  •  Salary and position commensurate with experience;

 

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant qualifications;

 

Skills/Competencies

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Cantonese/Mandarin;
  •  Good listening skills;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to change;
  • Ability to work independently or team to accomplish common goals;
  • Good conflict resolution skills;
  • Self-planning and organizing skills enabling one to multitask effectively in an interrupt-driven environment;
  • Log, troubleshoot, and track problems to a successful conclusion
