Shell Macau Representative & Retail Excellence Manager

This role is the key enabler in driving an integrated business excellence in Macau, supporting Retail Sales, Marketing, Operations and Retail Network Planning in Macau.  This role will also, on travel basis, oversee sales and operations matter for not more than 20% network portfolio in Hong Kong.

 
As Shell Representative in Macau, the incumbent will need to ensure full conformance with SGBP, Business Control Framework, Group HSSE requirements as well as Local Laws and Regulations for all Shell business activities in Macau.

Principal Accountabilities:

 

  1. Acting as representative for Shell in Macau, this role has a statutory  status in front of third parties or the government, and will need to endorse, on behalf of Shell, key documents such as operating license, letters to government, contracts and all other business-related legal documents, with support from relevant teams.

  2. As the top-leader in Shell Macau Limited, this role will lead the Macau team to execute all pre-designed Retail initiatives by Sales, Marketing and Network Planning teams, and delivered them successfully in Macau.

  3. Ensure that business processes are in place to support the Retail team to deliver their targets in Macau.

  4. Coach and support training for all Retailers in Macau and some retailers in Hong Kong via working with the learning team.

  5. Ensure effective implementation of all Retail Operations Excellence initiatives led by the Hong Kong based Operations Excellence Manager, including development and agreement of a local roll-out plan for all frontline staff.

  6. Responsible for the quality of retail station service level, applying global initiatives and service standards, and via building the pride of frontline using innovative recruitment and retention programs, Reward & recognition programs, working with HSSE and learning team to build up their competence and continuous improvement on operations E2E process.

  7. Responsible for managing and optimizing Labour cost at Retail sites by working with the Channel Offers Manager.

  8. During the absence of Operations Excellence Manager, manage the administrative assistants to support the whole Retail team.

  9. Being the key focal point of communications with different levels of stakeholders including Shell functional teams, retailers and frontline staff in Macau.

  10. Be the key support for Network Planning team to look for business opportunity in Macau and help delivering Network agenda in Macau.
