• Reports to VP/AVP of C
• Ensure compliance with, and track all relevant regulatory requirements and developments.
• Formulate and update compliance policies & procedures to meet relevant regulatory requirements
• Ensure all operations staff are aware of relevant regulatory compliance matters, and maintain their awareness by providing information and training thereon, and any other assistance required.
• Enforce and monitor compliance with the General Compliance Manual of the Bank and take joint responsibility to ensure that compliance procedures are built-in to Operations.
• Track all outstanding regulatory issues or regulators’ findings not yet addressed by the Bank.
• Act as the coordinator for reporting on, and undertake investigations into any suspicious or AML infractingtransactions.
• Represent the Bank to the AMCM on compliance and regulatory issues
• Contact retained lawyers and other counsel on Compliance matters requiring legal interpretation.
• Liaise with Legal & Compliance of head office on matters requiring HK regulatory & legal interpretation.

•  Degree holder in law, finance or related discipline with good analytical and writing skills
• Minimum 5 years of combined management experience in banking and compliance
• Experience and ability to deal with AMCM and other regulatory officials
• Familiar with banking rules and regulations and legislative procedures in Macau
• Good interpersonal and people management skills.
• Good command in English, Cantonese and Putonghua. Knowledge of Portuguese will be an advantage.
