EIRE Systems (Hong Kong), a leading IT and Project Management consulting firm, is looking for a Structured Cabling Specialist to work with our major international Investment Banking and other corporate clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the implementation of new IT infrastructure and solutions for projects in Macau, Hong Kong and the region. Projects include IT implementations for large-scale Gaming Industry venues, Investment Banking office and data centre moves, restacks, renovations and expansions. The role will include gathering and coordination of requirements from stakeholders within various departments, translating these into technical specifications for IT infrastructure and systems and managing implementation by third-party vendors. Candidates may also be required to evaluate, analyse and recommend multiple solutions.

Candidates *must* have demonstrable expertise and comprehensive experience in the design, supervision and implementation of large Structured Cabling Systems. Candidates will be expected to take full ownership of Strucured Cabling Projects immediately.

Candidates should be detail oriented, logical, have good communication and documentation skills, who also enjoy working in fast paced environments.

Candidates should indicate their willingness to be based in Macau if required, and willingness to travel throughout the region if required.

Qualifications

A degree holder in an engineering or IT-related discipline, the candidate shall be a seasoned IT professional, experienced in a wide array of technical and business projects. The individual must identify and address the planning, scheduling, implementation and personnel issues fundamental to the success of an effective IT infrastructure project, particularly one involving complex Structured Cabling Systems.

Additionally, the following specific knowledge is required:

1. Experience of planning and implementing large IT Projects, or several smaller projects, and able to demonstrate such experience.
2. Project planning and design for telco services, platforms, networks and PBX systems.
3. Experience with Structured Cabling design.
4. Project management skills, including scheduling, resourcing and vendor management. Budgets, proposal justification and cost analysis.
5. Competent use of presentation and project management software.
6. Experience of implementing IT solutions to the Gaming Industry.

7. Experience of working with and managing a diverse team of IT Staff, and third party vendors.


Language Skills

Excellent spoken and written English is essential.

Paid gazetted holidays

15 days paid holiday per calendar year excluding gazetted holidays. Employees receive one extra day of paid holiday per year of service up to a maximum of 20 days. During the first calendar year of service the Employee will receive 1 day per month of service.

A minimum of eight years experience is required, preferably with some experience of working within the finance sector.
