Job Description
Laxino is seeking experienced Software Engineer to design and implement highly available, highly scalable and highly secure online gaming applications using cutting-edge technologies.
Successful candidates will have the responsibilities to:

• Work with System Analysts to define software requirements, scoping, architecture, and design
• Serve as key technical resource in the full development cycle from design, implementation, documentation, testing to maintenance
• Resolve technical problems in timely fashion
• Drive business appropriate technology choices together
• Provide work leadership for junior-level engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2 to 4+ years of software development experience
• Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems
• Extensive experience programming in OOPL with strong OOD skills is required
• Knowledge and experience in FLEX/Rails development and video streaming technology will be strongly preferred
• Experience in online gaming development will be highly desired
• Experience in relational database design and application development. Exposure in system performance optimization and scaling will be valuable
• Significant development experience in a Unix/Linux environment is preferred
• Knowledge of XML web services, and agile development methodologies is valuable but not essential
• International experience is a plus
• Fluency (oral and written) in Chinese and English is mandatory
• Firm belief in teamwork and being an enthusiastic team player
