Job Description
Laxino is seeking a talented, passionate and experienced graphic designer to join our creative team. We are looking for a highly motivated person with proven user interface and visual design skills to create innovative customer experiences to support our sophisticated online gaming system. The ideal candidate has experience in working collaboratively with other designers and development teams to design complex end user experiences, and communicating these ideas clearly and persuasively with clients and other external audiences. He/she should be able to adhere to existing style guides and conventions but also have a strong individual sense of UI aesthetics and bring tasteful, stylish, high-class ideas to the table.

Successful candidates have the responsibilities to:

• Collaborate with other designers as well as business and development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, on-brand graphic solutions to build a superior customer experience
• Manage external graphic teams to deliver visual design to business and development requirements
• Quickly yet thoroughly create process flows, wireframes, and mockups to effectively conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors
• Produce and manage clean and effective design documentation including style guides and user interaction specifications
• Optimize digital images/Flashes for download efficiency
• Proactively manage time and deadlines
• Work with development teams to improve website elements

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience providing visual design solutions in a web design, multimedia, e-commerce, or other creative agency-like environment
• Expertise in Photoshop and Flash is required
• Prior experience in managing external graphic teams is highly desired
• Strong background in information architecture, usability, and innovative user interface design concepts
• Self-starter who is a customer-obsessed, detail oriented, enthusiastic team player
• Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
• Proficiency in CSS, JavaScript, DHTML is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of principals of Web design, HCI, HTML, and scalable dynamic GUIs
• Experience in graphic design for online gaming will be considered valuable
• A strong online portfolio, demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions, is highly desired
• Degree in Graphic Design or other visual communication-related field, or equivalent experience.
  International experience is a plus
• Fluency (oral and written) in Chinese is required and English is strongly preferred
