Position Summary:
 
The COD Senior Security Officer supports & assists the Shift Manager and Supervisors, Security with the operations of a shift, so that a safe, secure and comfortable environment is maintained.  The Senior Security Officer is responsible for ensuring that a high level of effective support is provided to all Security Officers to ensure that a high level of customer service is provided to customers and Departments of COD.
 

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Shift Manager and Supervisors, Security to coordinate and supervise Security Officers
  • Monitor customer service of employees and report weaknesses and strengths to the Supervisory Team to enhance service quality
  • Perform Senior Officer specific tasks such as monitoring Card Destruct, overseeing the completion of fills and credits, specific escorts and other tasks as directed
  • Plan and carry out basic administration, associated with Security Operations
  • Coordinate emergency situations if the Supervisor, Security is not present
  • To oversee and conduct routine inspections and maintenance of emergency equipment and undertake workplace fire prevention
  • Assist in incidents in a discreet and confidential manner appropriate to the situation and to maintain a professional image
  • Monitor all security procedures under the direction of the Supervisor, Security.  To monitor lost property and preserve crime scenes
  • Participate in training to perform duties of a Deployment/Control Room Officer
  • As required perform the role of Deployment/Control Room Officer
  • As required perform role of Supervisor, Security
  • As required perform the functions of a Security officer

Key Performance Indicators:  
  • Achievement of KPO's and implementation of strategies as identified in the Business Plan
  • Department and COD policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Performance and succession criteria are met
  • Fills and Credits are completed in an efficient manner
  • Senior Officer specific tasks are completed in a professional and effective manner
  • Collection, Analysing & Organising Information

Educatioin & Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years Casino Security experience as a Security Officer or higher role
  • Knowledge of administration and computer system applications such as Word, Excel
  • Experience in Customer Service and Security Officer duties
  • Demonstrated teamwork
  • Verbal and written English or Cantonese is essential; Mandarin is desirable
