Game Specialist
Job Responsibilities: -
To develop, write, test and debug game system code and authoring tools - To collaborate well with internal departments, vendors, etc. for implementing and refining game systems and play features when needed throughout the development process
- To produce quality game and animation contents through the use of Flash, PHP and other advanced web technologies
- To perform video and audio editing
- To effectively communicate with client for analyzing their requirement and satisfying their needs
- To ensure all created concepts are mathematically compliant in the targeted markets
- To provide innovative suggestions and value-added solutions for achieving optimization of games
- To carry out any other ad hoc projects as assigned and offer general team support
Requirements: - Bachelor or equivalent qualifications in Computer Science or other related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in game design and development; background of online gaming or similar capacity highly preferred
- Concrete working knowledge and development experience with HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, C/C++, Macromedia Flash and ActionScript
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Multimedia packages
- In-depth understanding of current web standards and user interface especially the internet world in mainland China
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills; able to work under tight deadlines
- Independent, innovative, creative, plus strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, with good command of English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin highly preferred
- Able to present Game and animation portfolio online as well as at interview
- Immediate availability preferred
