  1. Why should I register?
    As a registered member, you can take advantage of all our powerful job placement services for free. You can access services including Post CV, Job Alert, CV Builder and online job applications. All our job search services are open to users, including non-members.
  2. How do I register?
    User Registration is simple and only takes a minute. Click Register located on the Home Page of macauHR.com. When the User Registration page appears, please fill in each of the fields and click Register.
  3. How long does it take for my User Registration to be activated?
    Your User Registration activates immediately after all the fields have been entered and accepted. Upon successful User Registration, you may go to My Account where you can start taking advantage of all our website services.
  4. Can I change my login User Name?
    Unfortunately, once you have registered, your login User Name cannot be changed. There is one thing you can do. You can register again under a different User Name. Go to the Home page and click Register. If you choose this option, please email us at cs@macauhr.com to let us know that your old registered User Name will no longer be used.
  5. What if I have forgotten my Password or login User Name?
    You can use our Forgot Password service. Click Forgot Password on the Home Page, and enter your login User Name or your registered email address in the box provided. Your User Name and Password will be sent to you via email.
  6. Can I use your services if I do not have an email address?
    An email address is required to register with macauHR.com. It enables us to send you a confirmation of your User Registration and password along with job-related information such as Job Alert, e-Newsletters and other notifications.

  1. How can I perform a job search?
    You have two ways to do this -- either by Find a Job or Advanced Search. To use Find a Job, enter the keyword(s) in the Search box, and press Search. For an Advanced Search, choose the desired industry, job function, work experience, education, career level and any keywords that best describe your desired job. Scroll down and press Search Jobs to begin the search.
  2. What are keywords?
    Keywords are specific words or phrases that, when entered into a search field, help conduct a search for suitable jobs. The choice of a keyword is important to get an accurate search. For best results, use keywords, which are likely to appear in the Job Title or simply by Company Name. You may also use macauHR Job Number (e.g. MHR20071212) as a keyword in Advanced Search.
  3. How do I save a job advertisement for later use?
    Registered users can save their favorite jobs by simply clicking on Add to favorites below each job ad. There is no limit on number of jobs you can save. You can refer them later from My Favorites in My Account.
  4. How long do you keep jobs listed in your database?
    At macauHR.com, job listings are generally kept for four weeks, unless the job listing from the advertiser has expired.
  5. Will you email me suitable job listings?
    Yes, when you have subscribed to our free Job Alert service. Every week we find a match between your job profile and advertised jobs, we will email you a Job Alert. To subscribe, go to Job Alertand follow the steps as directed.

  1. If I have already registered, how can I change my email address and other Account Info?
    Login and go to My Account Info. You can change all the information you previously provided, except for the login User Name. We advise you to change your password from time to time to safeguard all your personal information.
  2. What is Job Alert?
    Job Alert is a free service that Alert you of job listings that match your job profile. When we find a match, we will email the job listing to you. To subscribe, go to Job Alertand follow the steps as directed.
  3. How can I unsubscribe from the Job Alert service?
    To unsubscribe from the Job Alert service, log in and go to My Job Alert and click Delete.
  4. How do I save a CV?
    You have two options to save a CV: either create a CV or upload one from your own files. To create a CV, go to CV Builder and fill in the online form, then preview and save it. To upload a CV from your own files; browse the file; name the resume and then upload in the My Resume section. You can upload maximum three CVs.
  5. How do I edit or delete my CV?
    Go to My Resume. To edit an online resume, click on Online Resume and edit information in the form provided. To update your uploaded CV, click on Resume 1, 2 or 3, and replace the outdated one with a new file from your own files. To delete resume, click on the corresponding box under Delete Resume.
  6. How can I apply for jobs online through macauHR.com?
    We provide an easy and direct way to apply for jobs via the Internet. You can simply click Apply and select the resume and cover letter of your choice. Click Apply Now to confirm sending out your application.
